"I was absolutely hooked very early on in the story. Though I usually prefer a story with very vivid imagery, I found that I enjoyed using my imagination to fill in some blanks. When something serious or urgent arose in the plot, I noticed more than once that my heart would be pounding and I had to stop myself from reading ahead to see what happened next!! That's a rare occurrence for me but it sure happened here!"
